The holiday home is situated at the Vesten in the centre of Geraardsbergen, between the market place and the "Muur". We welcome you in this small holiday home, ideal for walkers, cyclists or as an attachment point for those who want to explore the surrounding regions : Vlaamse Ardennen, Pajottenland & Pays des Collines.​

We are not a B & B, but rather a Bed & Basic. This means that after a pleasant walk or bike ride, you can spend the night for a reasonable price. You will find adresses of nearby bakeries, cafes, shops & restaurants at our lodge.​

The holiday accomodation @ de Vesten offers a stay without breakfast. The holiday home has a separate entrance so you will not be disturbed. There is no garden, but a green space is 20 meters away.

You can easily prepare your meals in the kitchen. It is equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, two electric hobs and a sink, all kitchen utensils (plates, bowls, pans and cutlery). In addition, a Senseo machine is available. You will be able to rest quietly on the sofa, you can watch TV or listen to the radio (digital reception via satellite). The appartment is equipped with central heating & airco. The stairs to the first and second floor are steep. There is a child safety gate between first floor and ground floor.

First floor
On the first floor there are two single beds (ready to sleep) and a spacious wardrobe. The stairs to the first & second floor are steep. A child safety gate is present between the first floor and the ground floor.
In a separate room on the first floor (separated by a door) is the bathroom (shower, sink & toilet with (bath) towels).​

Please provide shampoo, soap, toot brush and toothpaste yourself. Toilet papier is available.
Second floor
On the second floor you can spend the night in a spacious bed (width 1,60 meters with all bed linen). A TV (satellite reception) ensures that you can close the evening in peace.​

There is air conditioning in the bedroom to still enjoy a pleasant night's rest during warm nights.

Holiday home De Vesten is located in the centre of Geraardsbergen. there is ample free parking for the holiday home. Bicycles stay overnight next to the house in a secure garage and you can recharge the batteries for free. There is also an Allego charging point for electric cars at the Vesten. By car​
Coming from Brussels via the E40 to Ghent, take exit 19 (Aalst), follow the sign NINOVE (N45/N460) towards Geraardsbergen, from Ghent take exit 17 (Wetteren) & follow the N42 towards Zottegem & Geraardsbergen.
By train​
Geraardsbergen is easily accessible by train (from Ghent, Denderleeuw, Brussels, and Mons). Consult the NMBS route planner for the fastest connection. The holiday home is a good 15 minute walk from the station.
